Let's Build Foundations for Families Together

If submit an online donation and do not receive an email confirmation, please email kentattainablehousing@gmail.com and we will be in touch with a donation receipt. Thank you for your support of our mission!

Kent Attainable Housing partners with low-income families to build homes they can afford to buy. We make it possible for families who cannot afford high rents  to buy a home, build equity, and own an asset, taking their first steps out of poverty.

Tax Incentive Donation Programs

Donate through the KAH Community Investment Tax Credit Program sponsored by the Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development.

Your Contribution supports:

Purchasing Land for a future KAH home in Kent County.

We are have a goal of building three more homes in Kent County by the end of 2023. Your contribution would help support the purchase of land to expand our construction in Kent County.

Materials for future homes

Construction costs have quadrupled since the start of the pandemic. Your contribution will sponsor the following for a future KAH home: a front porch costs $1,600. A fence, $1,000. A rear deck, $800. A garden shed, $600.

Expansion through Community Engagement

To ensure that all residents have access to our affordable homeownership resources, we will be developing new outreach plans for our applicant program.

Funding for mortgages

We are looking to create a closing cost assistance fund to help support our future homebuyers when they are going through the settlement process.

Your donation makes it possible for us to build homes that low-income families can afford.
